1. Can you hold a house?

No. All properties are rented on a first come - first serve basis. The housing is guaranteed to your group only after the lease has been signed by all parties and each renter has submitted his/her security deposit.

2. Is my group first in line for the house?

No. There is not a "line" or "list" for each house. All properties are rented on a first come - first serve basis. The housing is not guaranteed to any group until the lease has been signed by all parties and each renter has submitted his/her security deposit.

3. Are utilities included?

YES!  The owner pays for electricity, natural gas, water, sewer and trash costs for all properties. Some properties also include cable and internet.

4. Are the houses furnished?

YES! The properties are furnished with beds, dressers, desks and chairs, couch, and kitchen table and chairs.

5. Is parking available?

Most properties have parking available. The parking is shared among all renters of the property. There is no additional charge for parking but individual parking spaces are not guaranteed.

6. Are pets allowed?

No.

7. Who takes care of maintenance and repairs?

Renters should contact the owner ASAP to report any maintenance or repair issues. The owner will take care of any necessary repairs and maintenance. The renters will be charged for repairs thst are the result of their own actions (i.e. broken windows, holes in walls, etc.).

8. What if someone in the group drops out of the group after the lease is signed?

Each person in the group is responsible for the total rent due - not just his/her individual portion. If some one drops out of the group, the best solution is to find a replacement housemate. If a replacement can not be found, the group is responsible for the missing person's portion of the rent. PLEASE MAKE SURE EACH PERSON IN YOUR GROUP IS 100% COMMITTED TO THE HOUSING BEFORE YOUR GROUP SIGNS THE LEASE.
